Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Kli is a mobile application for independent service providers, operated by Artem Kudryashov, Israel. This policy explains what the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to get it deleted.
1. Two kinds of people in this policy
Providers are the people who install Kli and use it to run their business. Clients are the customers a Provider records in the app.
For Client data, the Provider decides what to store and why — they are the data controller, and we process it on their behalf as their service provider. If you are a Client and want your details changed or removed, contact the Provider who serves you. You may also write to us and we will assist.
2. What we collect from Providers
| Category | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Email address, name, profile photo, authentication identifiers | To create and secure your account |
| Business profile | Business name, bio, years of experience, service area, working hours, work addresses, gallery images | To run the app's scheduling and profile features |
| Tax details | Legal name, business type, tax ID, business address | Kept in your business profile, to identify your business. The tax ID is encrypted. |
| Contact | Phone number, preferred language | Account communication and app language |
| Business content | Services and prices, jobs, sessions, schedules, payments, uploaded documents, notes | This is the content of the app itself |
| Device token | A push notification identifier | To deliver reminders. Only if you allow notifications. |
3. What Providers store about their Clients
A Provider may record a Client's name, phone number, email address, company name, address, and notes relating to their work. Client phone numbers are encrypted in our database.
4. Device permissions
- Photos — so you can choose a profile picture. Only the image you pick is uploaded. We do not browse or index your photo library.
- Contacts — so you can add a client without retyping their details. On iPhone, the operating system shows its own contact picker and returns only the single contact you choose. On Android, the app asks for permission to read your contacts and shows them in a list inside the app. Your address book never leaves your device, and only the contact you choose is saved.
- Notifications — to send you reminders about upcoming work. Optional, and revocable in your device settings at any time.
The app does not request camera, microphone, or location permissions.
5. What we do not do
- No analytics or product-tracking SDK is included in the app.
- No advertising, ad identifiers, or ad networks.
- No tracking of your activity across other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for marketing.
6. Companies that process data for us
We use a small number of infrastructure providers. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Clerk | Account sign-in, passwords, and authentication |
| Convex | Database and backend hosting |
| Expo, with Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM) | Delivering push notifications to your device |
| Google Maps Platform | Maps, address search, and travel-time estimates |
Some of these operate servers outside Israel, so your data may be processed abroad under their standard contractual protections.
7. Security
- All traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS.
- Tax ID numbers and Client phone numbers are encrypted at the field level using AES-256-GCM, so they are unreadable in the database without the encryption key.
- Access is scoped per account: a Provider can only reach their own records.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. How long we keep data
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, clients, services, jobs, media, and notifications are deleted from our systems. Backups are overwritten in the ordinary course of operation.
9. Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, or its deletion. Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law you may also ask to review information held about you and request that it be corrected or removed.
To delete your account and data: use Settings → Delete account inside the app, or — if you have already uninstalled it — submit a request at kli-app.co.il/en/delete-account.
10. Children
Kli is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
